Sebuah lagu yang sangat indah, merupakan OST (original soundtrack) dari film disney jadul yaitu aladdin..

asli, ini lagu enak banget, gw demen banget sama ini lagu sejak pertama kali gw denger, apalagi emang gw demen banget ama semua lagu2 yang berbau disney.. bahkan ada 3 playlist di iP*d gw yang memuat lagu-lagu disney.. udah emang aransemen musiknya bagus, melodi n liriknya bener-bener cocok sama suasana yang mau digambarin filmnya.. bener2 sumber inspirasi yang buuuagguuss banget bwt belajar songwriting (menurut gw..)

kenapa gw tiba2 keinget lagi sama nih lagu? alesannya adalah..........................
karena ke-eksisan gw di facebook (halahh..)

jadi begini ceritanya, temen jaman smp-sma gw a.k.a Gamaliel Tapiheru, seorang yang sangat talented dalam bidang bernyanyi dan bermusik, ngepost di Youtube video dia lagi nyanyi ini lagu..
gw cek deh, asli keren banget! nih gw post linknya.. (maap yah mal, gw gak ijin)

Sebuah rangkaian kata-kata puitis yang indah... diblend dengan musik yang manis...
ni lagu bner-bner cocok bwt perenungan....

verse I:
betapa dalam dan luasnya.. melebihi segala ukuran... kasih Bapa kepada kita..
hingga Ia berikan AnakNya untuk menderita di kayu salib...
to make a Wretch His Treasure.... coba bayangkan, siapa sih kita ini, sampai2 sang Raja di atas segala Raja menjadikan kita Treasure-nya...
manusia dibandingkan kedahsyatan alam semesta, keindahan bintang-bintang, supernova, Quasar, dll dst dsb, gak ada apa-apanya... Kalo kita bandingin gedenya salah satu galaksi ama seorang anak manusia, itu bagaikan ngebandingin bapaknya gajah bengkak yang obesitas dilihat dari kaca pembesar dibandingin sama virus mikrobanya mikroba diliat dari monas ama kakek2 rabun jauh...............apalagi kalo dibandingin ama pencipta ratusan bahkan milyaran galaksi...
dan kita jadi milik berharganya... how lucky..

verse II:
Betapa berat beban yang ditanggung Yesus, gw sendiri gak pernah luka sampai separah lukanya Yesus... Tapi separah-parahnya luka Yesus, masih bisa dibayangkan lahhh...
But, when The Father turn His face away?? God.... I can't imagine gimana menderitanya Yesus saat itu....
Namun, tubuh Yesus yang dihiasi dengan luka itulah yang membukakan jalan bagi anak manusia menuju kemuliaan...

verse III:
Lihatlah Dia yang tergantung di kayu salib... Di atas pundaknya lah dosa-dosa kita berada...
Lalu apa yang kita lakukan?? walaupun kita udah tau pengorbanan Yesus, masih aja kita berbuat dosa.. masih aja kita berlaku egois..
Setiap kali kita berlaku dosa, sama saja dengan kita mengolok-olok Yesus yang di atas kayu salib...
this is my favorite part of the song, "Ashamed I heard my mocking voice, call out among the scoffers" mungkin gw bukan call out lagi, malah gw yang mimpin tim paduan suara pengolok-olok.. haha~

verse IV:
it was my sin that held Him there.... every single bit of my sin.. and He paid it all upon the cross..
His death has brought me life and now i'm free from the grasp of sin... it's finished..

verse V:
I will not boast in anything... what for?? all that i have, i can have it only by His grace.....
there's no point in boasting wisdom or power.. all i can do to express my thanks is by boasting about HIS name... let all glory be unto God alone...

verse VI:
Why should I gain from His reward? no answer could be given for it's purely act of love...
and that act of love which paid all my debt, and now I'm His...

Berhubung bentar lagi kita udah mau paskahan, ada baiknya kalo kita ngebahas lagu yang satu ini..
Sebuah lagu yang berusaha mengekspresikan keadaan waktu adegan penyaliban Yesus..
Dan menurut gw, sukses banget sampe2 bikin mata gw banjir (ga ada hubungannya sama banjir di jkt) waktu pertama kali liat..

Nih lagu bercerita dari sudut pandang seorang anak perempuan yang ada waktu Yesus disalib..
Ketika nih anak lagi jalan-jalan ama bapaknya, dia ngeliat iring-iringan yang lagi nganter Yesus ke Golgota bwt disalib...
Chorus yang pertama menceritakan tentang komentar si anak ke bapaknya waktu liat rombongan tsb.

sampe sini... belum ada air mata.......hahaha~

Berikutnya, verse II menceritakan si anak mbandel dan ngikutin rombongan naik ke bukit Golgota...
Dan Chorus kedua menceritakan tentang sebuah suara yang didengar anak ini dari atas kayu salib (salibnya Yesus).... nah di sini nih...

Bayangin deh, Yesus tergantung di kayu Salib, di atas sana dia dibentak2 sama orang-orang di bawah.. Wajah-wajah menghina, rasa sakit di kepalanya... Chorus ini bener-bener menggambarkan perasaan Yesus yang campur aduk di atas sana...
Perasaan "udah gak kuat lagi" + "gw harus tetep coba" + "ingatkan lagi tujuan gw" + "gw SAYANG mereka" = KARYA LUAR BIASA DI ATAS KAYU SALIB
banjir dah mata gw.......T_T

Chorus yang kedua ini langsung dilanjutin ama Chorus yang ketiganya... Di sini digambarkan gimana perasaan campur aduk yang dirasakan Allah Bapa...
My Favorite part "Jesus this hurts Me much more than You know"...
Gilaaa!! Bayangin guys, pengorbanan dan keputusan kayak gimana yang diambil Allah Bapa waktu mengutus Yesus menderita... Buat apa???
Dan di tengah kepedihan itu ga ada yang bisa dilakukan, lebih jelasnya Must do Nothing...

Why??
